At Small World Pet Sitters and Dog Walkers, we believe in taking the “worry” out of your time away from your pets. Our family-owned and operated business is based in South Midwood, Brooklyn. Our daily involvement and dedication to our clients and their pets is, and continues to be, the foundation of our business. Whether you see us out walking a dog, meeting with people in the neighborhood, or riding our bikes to our next pet sit (we also believe in being as “green’ as we can), we believe in being part of the community and keeping our business hands-on.

We take care of cats, dogs, birds, rabbits, and other small pets. We are expert caretakers, animal lovers and life-long pet owners who not only tend to the physical care of your pets, but take the time to tend to their emotional needs as well.

We offer our services in most neighborhoods in Flatbush, including Ditmas Park, Caton Park, Prospect Park South, Fiske Terrace, and parts of Kensington and Midwood.

We know your pets would call you if they could, so we text you after each dog walk and after each cat visit to let you know how the visit went and how your pet is enjoying their day.

Call us or send us an email with your pet care needs. After we get to know you, we find it best to communicate by email with requests, dates of travel etc., since we usually have our hands full with dog leashes and cuddly cats.

I think it would be impossible to find better care takers for your pets than Ann & Boni. They are loving, kind, dependable, trustworthy, and professional. We have a deaf dog (Zelda) that Boni walks everyday…if you could see Zelda’s reaction when she sees Boni, you would understand everything!! I know that after every walk, I will receive a text letting me know whether Zelda did a #1 and/or a #2 and anything else I need to be aware of. I also have 3 pussycats that Ann and Boni take care of when we are away. I know that if I’m ever in a jam and can’t get home, I can call Ann and they will take care of my babies. You will never find anyone who will be more dedicated to the well-being of your pets. I am so grateful to have Ann and Boni in our lives!!– Ali

It was hard to find walkers who did weekends in Ditmas Park, but I’m glad I came across these guys. Over the last nine months, they have proved themselves week after week as really knowledgeable, friendly and professional. In our first meeting (which they set up for all to get a sense of each other and basic information, including my Vet’s information), my dog instantly took to both Ann and Boni. When Boni did a test run of taking my dog for a walk, he did not hesitate at all. Boni displays an instant ease with the pets (I’ve bumped into him in the neighborhood with other dogs), and I can tell my dog senses this and feels safe with him. The texts I receive after every visit let me know the visit has occurred and sometimes if there is an issue (such as a loose stomach) or a question. They confirm every visit and their rates are quite reasonable. A great find and great service for my dog!

Simply put, Ann and Boni are the BEST. My dog Amelia is blind and needs lots of attention, and Boni did a fantastic job with her. Not only did he walk her, feed her, play with her, give her eyedrops and pills… he washed out the cans of her food when they were empty.

If my dog could talk, she’d ask Boni to move in with us.

The cat-sitters of my dreams ‎ – ‎ -I am overjoyed to have found Ann and Boni. I travel a lot–almost every weekend–and recently had to be away from my kitty (aka The Love of My Life) for a MONTH! Ann and Boni sent me detailed emails or texts every day letting me know all was well. They are responsible, caring, and wonderful with animals (and people). My cat is a socialized feral, and until he met Ann and Boni I was the only human being he’d ever let touch him. Well, no more! Ann has been able to pet him and Boni and Momo have their own “man to man” relationship blossoming. I couldn’t recommend Small World more highly.

Ann and Boni are reliable, warm, responsive, caring, accommodating, and my dog absolutely loves them! He always seems much happier on the days that they visit him. They always let me know how each walk went, and they are flexible in terms of scheduling. I love the fact that my dog is walked without other dogs. We moved to the neighborhood last summer and I found Ann & Boni through the Ditmas Park Blog. We needed a dog walker for Dylan once in a while when I worked late. Now I have them walk Dylan every day and it is seriously the highlight of his day. He goes nuts with excitement when Boni shows up. They are very trustworthy and reliable, but also nice and cool people. I strongly recommend them and I am so thankful they are in my new ‘hood.

Newton gets really, really excited when Boni comes to walk him. I travel internationally on business, and my husband has his hands full with our toddler, so a dog-walker is essential while I am away. Ann and Boni are meticulous about details, always checking in, asking questions to get to know him better, and doing their best to make sure Newton has the best walk and most fun he can have.  We’ve had a number of dog walkers over the years, but there are not many that he’s gotten excited about: Boni is his favorite. He is strong enough to handle Newton, who is a bit of a puller, and give him a good workout without letting him get out of control. Boni has also been able to be very flexible when both my husband and I have to work late and we need a last-minute walk. It’s nice to know that with one email or phone call we have really reliable folks who are in the neighborhood looking after our dog, instead of a service where it could be someone different every time. Boni is a godsend for active dogs!

Ann is absolutely the best animal baby sitter we’ve ever had. We love our cats more than anything on Earth, so when we go away we want to feel secure about their well-being. One of our cats (Ruby) requires daily hydration and 6 pills a day. I’ve been dedicated to her for 3 years now and would NEVER entrust her with anyone but a pro.

We also have tropical fish and many indoor and outdoor plants, so our situation is complex and difficult.

Ann is dedicated, responsible, caring, and compassionate. When we return from long or short vacations, everything is PERFECT.  The cats are happy, healthy and calm.  (Sometimes we fear they love Ann more than they love us). The fish are healthy and the plants are thriving.
